1.Architectural Job Captain

Cawley Architects, a 30+ year highly distinguished Architectural firm in Phoenix, AZ, is looking for talented individuals with experience in commercial/retail, industrial, office and/or educational market-sectors. You must have a strong understanding of building systems and details and be able to produce a complete set of construction drawings. Essential Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Architectural office. Able to create a complete set of architectural construction drawings. Professional level architect in training is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCad and/or BIM-Revit. Additional experience in 3-D rendering software and other computer program skills as Excel and Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Substantial experience in all Architectural phases: Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration services.
  • Good working knowledge in the submittal and approval process required in Preliminary Design, Design Review, and Permitting documents for a variety of market sectors.
  • An ability to effectively manage multiple projects, Engineering Consultants, project schedules, budgets and tasks, with an emphasis on code compliance, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel.

2.Business Development Manager

Cawley Architects, a 30+ year highly distinguished Architectural firm in Phoenix, AZ. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

We are looking for a talented dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will focus on collaborating with architects and design teams to understand project requirements and align business strategies. Identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, coordinating marketing efforts, contributing to proposal development, and driving revenue growth for the company.

Essential Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Architecture, or a related field.
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in Architecture, Construction or related fields and proven experience and success in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • They will identify and pursue new business opportunities within the architecture and construction industry. Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Then coordinate marketing efforts and contribute to proposal development, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM software to manage client relationships, track leads and analyzing sales performance. Proficiency in CoStar is a plus.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and meetings to promote the company’s services.
  • Strong calculated planning skills to develop long-term growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

3.Assistant Director / Project Architect

Essential Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in an Architectural office, with full understanding of the requirements to complete a fully coordinated, code compliant set of Architectural and Engineering (A&E) construction drawings.
  • Experience in managing the entire project team, (i.e. Client, A&E team, General Contractor, City Officials, etc.). Candidate will collaborate closely with Project Directors.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCad and/or BIM-Revit. Additional experience in 3-D rendering software and other computer program skills as Excel and Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Licensed Architect who has substantial leadership experience in all Architectural phases: Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration with little or no supervision.
  • Good working knowledge in the submittal and approval process required in Preliminary Design, Design Review, and Permitting documents for a variety of market sectors.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple project schedules, budgets and tasks, with an emphasis on thoroughness, code compliance, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
